Thanks

Kelly and I are back from our honeymoon and we just wanted to thank everyone for coming to the wedding. Since most everyone had to travel to Blacksburg, we really appreciate all the time and effort spent on being with us for this special occasion. Please check back for wedding pictures as we’ll be posting some as soon as we get them.

Blacksburg and New River Valley general information

For more general information on the area, you can check out the Roanoke TimesNew River Valley News section.

If you have some extra time before or after the wedding, I highly recommend some of the hiking and natural scenery in the Jefferson National Forest. Pandapas Pond has especially easy access with hiking trails marked from easy to difficult.

Virginia Tech directions page

Virginia Tech has a great webpage with detailed directions to campus including nice maps. Feel free to review this page for more details if you didn’t like the directions I provided in the invitation.

Blacksburg Holiday Inn is almost full

One of our hotels with a reservation block for the wedding is almost full. Due to Virginia Tech’s Parents Weekend, the Blacksburg Holiday Inn will not give us any more rooms to our block. Luckily, we have plenty of rooms left at the other two hotels in Radford. Lodging information is located here. These two hotels are further away from the rehearsal and the ceremony, but are actually closer to the reception.
